Lecture Delivered: “Fundamentals to Applications, Research Trends, and Implementation of MOFs”

HFC participated as a speaker in the seminar “Fundamentals to Applications, Research Trends, and Implementation of MOFs (Metal–Organic Frameworks),” organized by Technology Information Center Co., Ltd. (TIC). Professor Horike (Kyoto University) and Mr. Hori (HFC) delivered lectures. Program I covered real-world examples of MOF applications and pathways toward implementation for gases such as CO₂, hydrogen, and ammonia, from the perspective of “creating resources from air.” Program II provided an overview of the evolution of MOF research and key considerations—characteristics, potential, and remaining challenges—as practical materials.

HFC Delivered a Lecture at NIRO’s Networking Exchange Meeting

At the request of the New Industry Research Organization (NIRO), HFC delivered a lecture titled “Toward a Carbon-Circulating Society Enabled by Nobel Prize–Level MOFs: Cutting-Edge Separation and Purification Technologies Supporting Carbon Neutrality.” The talk introduced practical examples of MOF applications for gases such as CO₂, hydrogen, and ammonia, including a DAC and methanation demonstration in Hakuba Village, and discussed key challenges and collaboration points to accelerate the path from research to social implementation.
